The annual Houthoff Global Corporate Ladies Event, first organized by Houthoff in 2015, combines discussions on different cultural topics with and the opportunity to meet like-minded colleagues and make new connections. The concept is entitled ‘Cocktails, Culture & Content’, with the last ‘C’ getting a different theme every year.
2020 is different. The pandemic has left its mark on 2020. Societies have been shut down, borders were closed and the virus took hold of the economy. A comprehensive situation, the consequences of which are still unpredictable in many areas.
How can connect and interact with your audience when you cannot physically meet? Exactly. By translating your content into a strong live online talk show.
For us, a digital event actually means making television. There is more to it than ‘just a presentation and putting a camera on it’. Together with Houthoff we developed a very strong program by translating the substantive and relevant content into a powerful live online talk show.
During this sixth edition of Houthoffs’ Global Corporate Ladies Event, on October 8, 2020, the invitees and a panel of experts discussed maintaining control in times of crisis.
Live fromĀ the Dutch National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam, the panel discussion took off with Birgit Otto, Marieke Bax, Barbera Wolfensberger & Marry de Gaay Fortman, led by Talitha Muusse, about maintaining control in times of crisis. Here they shared their valuable vision and concrete tools with the viewers. Janine Vos completed the program with her column on the Future of Work and a preview of Houthoff’s Leadership Masterclass on non-verbal communication and the use of voice. This year it was a hybrid event. A good example on how you can share your relevant content with your audience by creating a strong live online talk show.
We sure want to create more of this!
