We Are Live wins 6 international Eventex Awards
Amsterdam, 17 May 2023 - The winners of the Eventex Awards have been announced; We Are Live has won six awards. The production company and livestream expert for international brands received three gold awards for B2B event, Event Storytelling and Brand Experience - Food & Beverages and platinum for Hybrid Event.
We Are Live received a total of five awards for the hybrid event product launch of the second generation of chocolate that they produced for chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut. The jury report praised the concept for its 'well-thought-out strategy and creative execution'.
The digital concept Charging Day, for which We Are Live was commissioned by Fastned, was also awarded bronze in the Virtual B2B Event award category. “The impact and innovation we offer our customers with live videos is one of the main reasons why we started We Are Live in 2008. These prestigious awards are therefore a wonderful reward for our work”, says Marck Feller, Founding Partner and director of We Are Live.
We Are Live was nominated in six categories and won an award in all categories:

Second generation chocolate - Barry Callebaut
For the Swiss company Barry Callebaut, world leading producer of chocolate and cocoa, a hybrid form for events has become increasingly important. Barry Callebaut's question was how to best launch their innovation – the second generation of chocolate, 150 years after the introduction of the first generation –
to the world. “The Venice location had to be brought to life in image and sound for a 45-minute broadcast of TV program quality,” says Feller.
In total, the live broadcast had more than 4500 viewers - including worldwide press and customers - of which 99% watched from start to finish: the TV program quality certainly contributed to this. The resulting total reach in the press exceeded 400 million.
Charging Day - Fastned
Like most companies, Fastned wanted to present itself to the financial market in a Capital Markets Day (CMD). As they are a young company and anything but corporate, they wanted their CMD to be innovative and eye-catching.
During the live broadcast 'Charging Day', not only was the company’s strategy explained, but viewers also got to see the people behind this strategy. The digital event resulted in a positive image for the company and a new financial investment of 75 million euros. The recordings were also used on the website, during roadshows, in financing discussions and snippets of the recordings are used during the onboarding of new employees.
