On the 9th of October 2018, AkzoNobel introduced the new name and strategy of her split off chemical subsidiary AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals. In order to inform their 10,000 employees around the world extensively and exclusively of what was going to happen, they decided to make use of a livestream: a crucial moment in the company’s history. The event was organised by The Hospitality Group, and We Are Live was tasked with producing the worldwide live experience. We were involved with the design of the stage, lighting and the camera shots. The involvement by the employees with the livestream was high and positive reactions from around the world came flooding in.
