During Solana Breakpoint in Lisbon, an underground parking garage was transformed into a high-speed go-kart track, creating one of the most unexpected activations of the event. As part of a broader program featuring dozens of side events and thousands of attendees from the global Web3 ecosystem, this activation stood out for both its energy and complexity. Together with event producer Brownys, the space became a live racing environment for visitors, partners and sponsors. We Are Live delivered the full livestream production and on-site viewing experience, ensuring a seamless, broadcast-quality experience for both live and online audiences.
Producing a live event in an underground venue introduced significant challenges, from limited build-up time and unpredictable lighting to the speed and dynamics of racing itself. The goal was to deliver a professional, multicamera livestream that matched the standards of a sports broadcast, while maintaining clarity and engagement for viewers across platforms.
We approached the production as a sports broadcast, combining detailed pre-production with a flexible on-site setup. Real-time driver tracking, live results, custom graphics, replay functionality and dynamic multicamera direction ensured every moment of the race was captured and easy to follow. Close collaboration with local technical teams allowed us to adapt quickly and maintain full control throughout the production.
The result was a high-energy, structured and visually strong livestream that translated a chaotic environment into a clear and engaging viewing experience. This project shows how hybrid event production and livestream expertise can turn unconventional spaces into fully professional, broadcast-level experiences, extending the impact of live moments far beyond the physical event.
